Cultural Empowerment

The Traditional Arts Empowerment program celebrates the creative heartbeat of Bali. Through art, performance, and collaboration, we strive to preserve the island’s cultural traditions while nurturing the next generation of Balinese artists.

Art Continuity

We work closely with local art communities, children, and master artisans — supporting them in painting, carving, music, and textiles — to ensure that Bali’s timeless artistic heritage continues to inspire the world.

OUR MAIN ACTIVITIES

Children's Painting Exhibitions

Through events such as “True Love,” “Rare Rupa,” and “Wizard of Oz in Batuan Style,” we empower young artists to express themselves while maintaining their cultural identity. These exhibitions are community celebrations of imagination, heritage, and joy.

Workshops & Cultural Research

Our foundation conducts hands-on workshops and field studies on traditional crafts — including painting, woodcarving, textile-making (Tenun & Batik), and traditional music (Genggong & Kulintang). These programs connect generations of artists and sustain skills that are at risk of disappearing.

Collaborations Across Islands

We collaborate with artists from Bali, Java, and Kalimantan on special commissions involving painting, sculpture, and frame-making. These collaborations bridge diverse cultures and introduce Indonesian craftsmanship to global audiences.

IMPACT

Inspiring the creativity of hundreds of Balinese youth.

Reviving endangered art forms and sustaining artisan livelihoods.
